After seeing an article that insisted bisexual men were simply gays in denial, I decided I had sufficent inspiration for my first stamp. The idea that bisexuality is more accepted in women than men gets me hot under the collar.

Then again, it might have to do with the objectification of women in our culture; either way, I'm fucking sick of "You're bi? But you're a dude!"

I'm anything but closeted, thank you. This is my sexual orientation- not subject to change. This is my stamp.

Word, I hate that double standard. I don't know if it's more insulting to men or women, but either way, it's ridiculous. Whether women are bi, OR just gay, it doesn't seem to bother people as much as two guys. And I think you're right, I think it's just because women are considered sex objects. I mean, if you show a picture of two girls making out to a guy, he'll start drooling, but show him a picture of two guys making out and he'd be like "Oh god, get that the fuck away from me!"

why is it that there are so many things that girls can do with other girls and its ok but if guys did the same thing with other guys its wrong? male sterotypes- oh how i hat them- and im not even a guy!- luv the stamp ^_^

LOL when I first read this I thought it said "phrase" and I was all wtf? but yeah sorry about that. Totally agree with you though, now that I know what it really says. People tell me my asexuality is a phase, that I just haven't found the right person. They're full of hogwash, if you ask me. So.... right on, my friend!

I was aware that some people believe that there is no such thing as bisexuality, but I had no idea that people seem to be more accepting of the idea of a woman being bisexual than a man. :O_o: Hrm.

I agree, I am a bisexual female and I accept all members of the LGBT community, wheather they be male, female, or support androgany. (Sorry for any words I spelled incorrectly.)
